Family and friends gathered at the Buford Arena on Friday, September 8 to watch as Buford’s competition cheer teams performed the routines that they will execute in competitions this season.
The first team up was Buford Middle School’s competition cheer squad followed by Buford High School’s junior varsity competition cheer squad. Buford High School’s varsity competition cheer squad closed out the showcase with an incredible performance.
There are plenty of opportunities to support Buford competition cheer. Below is their 2023 competition schedule.

- Saturday, September 23 – JV & Varsity – @ Mill Creek High School
- Saturday, September 30 – JV & Varsity – @ Buford Arena
- Saturday, October 14 – Varsity – @ Creekview High School
- Saturday, October 21 – JV & Varsity – @ South Forsyth High School
- Saturday, November 4 – Varsity – @ Walton High School (State Sectionals)
- Friday, November 10 – Varsity – @ Macon (State Championships)
