Gwinnett County took to social media to urge residents who receive a voter registration notice from the State of Georgia to update their voter information.

The Secretary of State’s office is conducting non-election year voter list maintenance. On August 10, 2023, confirmation notices were mailed to Gwinnett County voters who had no voter registration or election activity in the last five calendar years. This also included voters who had returned mail or were from the National Change of Address list.

If a resident receives one of these notices, they are urged to complete the notice and return it within 30 days in the enclosed postage-paid envelope in order to confirm or update their voter information. If a resident fails to respond to the notice, their voter registration status may change from active to inactive.

Residents may check their voter registration information at Georgia’s My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov.
