City of Buford residents have until September 5 to give the city feedback by taking the 2045 Buford Comprehensive Plan Update survey.
The City of Buford along with other cities and counties in Georgia must create and update a comprehensive plan every five to 10 years as required by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
According to the city’s website, the 2045 Buford Comprehensive Plan Update “will address the community’s vision, policies, and goals based on existing conditions and community input.”
Residents will be asked their opinions on traffic, growth, future concerns and economics. They are also asked what type of businesses and amenities they want to see in the future, as well as their opinion on historic buildings in the city.
The information collected in the surveys will help guide the Planning Team in making future decisions that are in the best interests of the city’s residents.

All answers are anonymous. The survey must be completed no later than Tuesday, September 5, 2023.
