Buford High School women’s basketball star Ava Grace Watson announced on Saturday, June 17 via Twitter her decision to verbally commit to further her academic and basketball career at Ohio State University.
The rising senior has been crucial to the success of Buford women’s basketball and has been a starter all three years. The guard is an aggressive, smart player who averaged 24 points, six rebounds, 5.2 assists and 4.3 steals a game for the Wolves during her junior season.
The 5-foot-7 four star recruit was named by Max Preps as an honorable mention on the All-American list in 2023. ESPN has Watson ranked No. 47 on their 2024 espnW Top 100 rankings.
