A man was found deceased inside a home in Buford by officers with Gwinnett County’s North Precinct early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on April 3, officers responded to “a trouble unknown call” in the 3200 block of Ivy Birch Way in Buford.
According to a statement put out by the Gwinnett County Police Department, “A caller stated that she heard loud noises and someone grunting for help. Officers arrived and started looking for anyone in distress.”
After looking around, officers noticed a house with lights on and knocked on the door. After the occupants of the home came to the door, the officers noticed a man who looked as if he had been in a physical altercation. At this time, detectives believe that this was a domestic incident involving the occupants of the home and are currently not seeking additional suspects.
