The Buford volleyball team announced via social media their players who received end-of-the-season awards.
The Wolves ended the 2023 season with an overall record of 25-9 and won the Region 8-7A championship title. They lost to North Gwinnett in the second round of the GHSA Class 7A state playoffs ending their season.
Sophomore Clara Briley, an outside hitter, was named First Team All-State by the Georgia Volleyball Coaches Association, as well as received First Team All-Gwinnett County honors.
Senior Payton Danley, a middle blocker, was named to the First Team All-Gwinnett County.
Defensive specialist Ella Jane Williams (Class of 2024) and setter Libby Williams (Class of 2025) received Second Team All-Gwinnett County honors.
