Justin Baker, a running back from Buford High School narrowed down his list of college offers to six on July 4. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound rising junior holds 20 college offers after having completed two seasons for the Wolves.
The three-star recruit according to 247Sports lists Georgia, Michigan, NC State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee as his top six programs.
Some of the schools that did not make the list include Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Colorado and USC.
Baker is a tough opponent at the running back position due to defenders’ difficulty in bringing him down. Baker relies on his track experience to propel himself down the field with speed and agility.
During Baker’s sophomore season, he was not able to get much field time as he had to share duties with four-star running back Justice Haynes. Look for Baker to be called upon more frequently this season now that Haynes is at Alabama.
