Seventeen Buford High School band students were selected to take part in the 2024 Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Band. The students will travel to take part in the event on Feb. 27-Mar. 1, 2024, at the Classic Center in Athens.
Students had to make it through several rounds of intense auditions to be selected for the prestigious All-State Band. Students in grades 9-10 will participate with the Concert Band while those in grades 11-12 will take part in the Symphonic Band.
Last year, Buford High School had 10 students selected for All-State Band and this year, 17 members of the Buford Band of Wolves will take part in the All-State Band week.
