The Buford Business Alliance is bringing back the festive cheer again this year with their annual Buford Holiday Festival and Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024.
Come out and be immersed in Holiday cheer with us! Set in one of the most beautiful locations for the holiday season, Buford’s Historic Main Street, the festival and parade will melt even the most Scrooge-like person and put them in the Holiday spirit.
Start by enjoying the holiday-themed parade at 9 a.m., which features over 50 entries, including the Buford Band of Wolves and dancing performers. The jolly old man, a.k.a. Santa, is rumored to be cruising through in his vintage red truck.
Follow the parade to the festival grounds at 301 East Main Street, in front of the gorgeous Mansions on Main Street at the Buford Amphitheater Park. Get some of your holiday shopping done and grab something tasty to eat with over 50 vendors and food trucks. Catch a festive performance or two on the Amphitheater stage or bring your children to the FREE Kids’ Zone featuring bounce houses, a balloon artist, a caricature artist and other kid-friendly activities. PHOTOS WITH SANTA will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis so bring your camera and snap your photos for free. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There is still time to sign up as a vendor or food truck at the Holiday Festival. The fees are listed below, and space is first-come, first-served. Vendor fees range from $100 to $185.
The 2024 Buford Holiday Festival and Parade is sponsored by our gold-level sponsors, Spraggins Law Firm and The Peoples Bank & Trust. Silver-level ($500) and bronze-level ($300)sponsorships are still available.
Interested in being in the parade? There are still a few slots available for businesses, dance groups, civic groups, school groups, pageant queens, and more. The only requirements for being in the parade are that entries must be holiday-themed and have plenty of candy to toss out to the spectators. There is no fee to participate, but you must submit an application and be approved.
Proceeds from the Holiday Festival are used by the Buford Business Alliance to sponsor non-profit organizations and school groups. The money also funds scholarships for Buford High School seniors.
