Girls basketball
Buford 56, Central Gwinnett 50
A strong first quarter kept the Buford girls basketball team in the game and able to pull off a 56-50 win over Central Gwinnett on Monday night at Central Gwinnett.
The Lady Wolves put up 34 points in the first half with 16 of those points coming from senior Ava Grace Watson. Central Gwinnett had a slower start than Buford with only 23 points scored but outscored the Lady Wolves in the second half 27- 20.
