Buford 58, East Forsyth 38
The Buford varsity girls basketball team beat East Forsyth 58-38 on Saturday, Dec. 14 in a non-region game.
Junior Lydia Ledford scored 23 points for the Wolves and sophomore E’miah Fields contributed 15 points in Buford’s win over East Forsyth.
Buford remains undefeated with an overall record of 8-0. On Monday, Dec. 16, Buford will travel to play Mill Creek at 5:30 p.m. in a Region 8-6A game.
Boys basketball
Cherokee Bluff 93, Seckinger 89
Cherokee Bluff just barely managed to defeat Seckinger 93-89 on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the North Georgia Report Showcase at West Hall High School.
The Jaguars’ overall season record fell to 6-2. Seckinger will travel to play Mountain View on Monday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
