According to a press release on Friday, a new shoe store is the latest retailer slated to open up shop inside the Mall of Georgia.
Tradehome Shoes is set to open for business at the Mall of Georgia this month. The Minnesota-based retailer has over 130 locations in 26 states (27 states when the Buford location opens). Hey Dude, Birkenstock, Sorel, Pikolinos, Chaco, Dansko, Ecco, HOKA, Brooks and ON Running are just a few of the premium brands the new shoe store will feature.
The Buford location will continue the company’s commitment to offering its customers a superior customer service experience, knowledgeable staff and premium brands.
“Families appreciate the opportunity to get the right fit and style at a local store, where a knowledgeable associate can help them through the process,” said Mark Jacobson, Head of Store Personnel. “Tradehome Shoes has prospered because we bring premium brands; athletics, sandals, boots, hiking, and other lifestyle products to local markets.”
Tradehome Shoes was established in 1921 and is headquartered in Cottage Grove, MN. The retailer has over 900 employees and is 100% employee-owned. The company has distinguished itself by creating community-based stores offering its customers a “curated selection of footwear for the entire family.”
The company gives back to the communities where they have locations through its Trade-at-Home-Give-at-Home initiative. Through this initiative, Tradehome Shoes gives donations to nominated schools and charities in the local communities.
According to the Mall of Georgia website, Tradehome Shoes will open on the first level near the food court next door to the Yankee Candle store.
