Three Buford football players recently announced which colleges they have decided to further their academic and football careers with.
Linebacker Mantrez Walker, cornerback Chris Garland and tight end Hayden Bradley made their announcements via X (formerly Twitter).
Walker announced his commitment to Colorado during an official visit to the school during the Buffaloes’ Spring Game on April 27. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound junior and four-star prospect according to Rivals was also considering LSU, Miami, Ole Miss and Penn State. Walker will join fellow Buford football alum, kicker Alejandro Mata at Colorado.
Stanford was announced as Garland’s college program of choice on April 25. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior had 22 offers. Boston College, Connecticut, Dartmouth and Yale were on Garland’s top five list. He will join former Buford quarterback Ashton Daniels at Stanford next fall.
Bradley, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound junior, announced his college commitment on April 27 to Ole Miss. His top five offers included Florida, Michigan, Penn State and South Carolina. Bradley is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports.
