Every November since 2016, an event is held in Buford to celebrate Gwinnett County’s first responders. The Red, Blue and You celebration is presented by a nonprofit organization made up of local business owners who wish to show their appreciation for the county’s men and women in public safety.
This year’s Red, Blue and You celebration is on Thursday, November 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Buford Arena at 2795 Sawnee Ave in Buford.
The general public is encouraged to come out and help show appreciation for these selfless men and women. The event starts with a short honor ceremony followed by a meal. Everyone who attends is invited to share in the delicious meals provided by Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ. The event is FREE for anyone who wishes to attend.
